Project supervisor construction stage (PSCS) is an important role, driven by the industry for the person who has ultimate control over a construction project.
The also encompasses coordinating all activities, including subcontractors on site and the compliance with standards and health and safety legislation. This encompasses the co-ordination of the identification of hazards, their elimination and reduction of risks during HVAC upgrade works.
Our senior engineers, Ger Carter, Robbie Sheppard, Robbie Brady, Keith Evans and John Donlon have obtained the PSCS qualification, which is listed amongst their vast training records.
PSCS ensures compliance with the following laws:
- Construction Regulations 2006, S.I. No 504
- Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005
Project supervisor design process (PSDP) is an important role in ensuring the co-ordination of design work throughout the project.
In a more technical role, the PSDP identifies hazards arising from the design or from all other aspects of the project, including: technical, organisational, planning or time related aspects. The PSDP also communicates necessary control measures, design assumptions and remaining risks to the PSCS, so they can be dealt with in the safety and health plan.
Thermodial director, Mark Carrick has obtained the PSDP qualification, which is listed amongst his vast training records.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have further details on the PSCS and PSDP roles.
