Knowledgeable, experienced and well-rounded expert team of service engineers are an essential component in providing a professional and reliable HVAC maintenance and upgrade service.
On average, a cumulative 4% of payroll costs is spent on training per annum, equating to six man-months’ work, comparing favourably with international standards.
This training investment and experience provides well-rounded engineers with the confidence to provide excellent customer service, preventing any risk to customers’ operations. Communication and management skills are also provided as soft skills training.
The in-depth HVAC industry experience amongst the Thermodial team equates to in excess of 450 years.
Indeed, each service engineer is highly qualified through the multi-skilled nature of their training and experience, in a national craft discipline, as a gas installer and to F-Gas category Ⅰ competence (allowing all activities on F-Gas systems).
A general operative and apprentices also make up part of the field team. Accounts, finance, administration, marketing and sales business professionals, support both office and field operations.

Turlough Kinane
Turlough was appointed Managing Director in 2016 after a management buyout – 10 years after he joined Thermodial as Financial Controller.
Today Turlough’s role includes supervising all aspects of the business as well as continuing to oversee the areas of finance and ICT. Turlough has also undertaken the HR role, whilst continuing to seek new opportunities and new technologies in ICT development. It’s typical of the lateral thinking beyond his impressive qualifications which include a masters in management and application of IT in accounting and a diploma in management.
Planning projects, implementing them and seeing them evolve are a particular source of satisfaction. Not unlike his interest in Formula 1 which needs all these precise disciplines.
A healthy body can lead to a healthy mind, something that Turlough agrees with, evidenced by his participation in corporate running events and membership of his local running club.

Alan Keegan
Alan joined Thermodial as an Apprentice in 1996 and has now graduated through to the role of Operations Director. In his role he ensures the delivery of services in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
You can see from his qualifications, which include electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning and management/business studies that Alan has very impressive credentials which more than qualify him for his role. He constantly looks for ways to improve our service through the efficient use of all resources.
Away from his Thermodial duties, Alan likes to participate in various running meetings throughout the year to stay fit and healthy. This also keeps him active and alert, something that aids him in his day-to-day tasks in the Operations Department.

Mark Carrick
Having originally come straight from school in 1998, Mark has moved up the ranks learning all aspects of his chosen career.
In 2015 Mark was promoted to the position of Projects Director. In his role, Mark oversees key accounts and supervises all HVAC Upgrades.
Mark mentors our in-house PSCS engineers and provides them with technical expertise. This is done through pro-active communication, ensuring safety and best practices are delivered.
His qualifications include electrical, refrigeration, heating and project management and his attitude to the business is reflected by his customer-centric approach.

Liam Dunne
Liam has gained a lot of experience since he represented Ireland at under-21 football level (including at Galatasary’s infamous stadium ‘Hell’).
Liam is Thermodial’s Service Co-ordinator. His role involves a great deal of communication – with engineers, customers, subcontractors and suppliers.
Liam joined Thermodial with a list of qualifications including plumbing, refrigeration, brazer approval and heating. He commenced his non-football career in 2006 after finishing his apprenticeship.
Whilst missing the cheering and applause from the side lines he enjoys the satisfaction of still playing with a winning team.

Ger Carter
In the HVAC industry since leaving school in 1994, Ger brings a wealth of experience and talent to the Thermodial team. One of several senior engineers, Ger has exceptional experience in control panel wiring.
He particularly enjoys new challenges, and in this ever changing business he gets plenty of them.
As his qualifications show there is a rich variety to his talents.
These include electrical, refrigeration and heating.
As with many of the Thermodial staff, Ger shows a healthy interest in sport and especially football and Gaelic.

Robbie Sheppard
Another member of our team of service engineers, Robbie comes fully trained and qualified just like all of his colleagues.
With Thermodial since 2006 bringing a wealth of experience with him, Robbie insists on giving the customer the full breadth of his experiences.
His involvement in HVAC systems covers everything from construction to commissioning to ‘Trouble-shooting’. Read through his qualifications, which include electrical, refrigeration and heating and you will see that Thermodial customers are in good hands.
Yet another team player active on the football pitch, Robbie also performs for Kilnamanagh FC in the Leinster Senior League.

John Donlon
With experience in Australia as well as Ireland, John comes well qualified to operate as part of the Thermodial team.
Those two far apart countries bring their different types of challenges but both throw up the kind that John enjoys.
Having specialised in conferences and events as an electrical engineer, he knows what pressure means.
Look at his qualifications which include electrical, refrigeration and infrared phermography and you will see that his talents go well beyond electrics.
John enjoys a game of golf when weather, and time, allow.

Keith Evans – in memory
Keith joined Thermodial in 2001, upskilled, trained and mentored across two decades before his untimely passing in 2019.

Martin Francis
Martin served his apprenticeship with Thermodial before joining G.S. Hall and Prism Lighting.
He then returned to Thermodial in the summer of 2013 taking up the position of Service Engineer.
Martin enjoys working as part of a team and enjoys the good friendly atmosphere in working for Thermodial.
Outside of his job as a Service Engineer, Martin dedicates himself to kick boxing and running.

Anthony Ennis
Anthony served his apprenticeship over a four year period at Thermodial.
Outside of work Anthony likes to stay fit by going to the gym or playing football. He played for Palmerstown Athletic, alongside fellow Thermodial engineer Colin Fitzpatrick.
In late 2011 Anthony re-joined Thermodial, graduating to the role of service engineer.
Anthony likes working on heating systems and enjoys the diverse nature of the jobs he works on daily at Thermodial.

Adam Duffy
Adam began his apprenticeship with Thermodial in 2008. He qualified as an electrician in 2011.
Having gained valuable experience working with the likes of Excel Electrical, James Collins Engineering and Designer Electrical, Adam re-joined Thermodial late in 2012.
In working for Thermodial, Adam enjoys the range of training offered by the company, in addition to achieving the high standards of maintenance work expected.
Like most of the Thermodial team, Adam enjoys a range of outdoor activities, from playing 5-a-side football to sipping a coffee.

Brian Kavanagh
Brian is yet another who has come up through the ranks, from apprentice to Contracts Manager.
Brian joined Thermodial 2006 and resumed his career here in 2014, pointing at both mechanical and electrical work experience in the interim.
Like so many engineers, Brian enjoys problem solving in his day-to-day work and confidently explains that job satisfaction is also achieved from helping customers.
Brian also likes to bring his problem solving capabilities to the football field, in trying to engineer a winning team at Kilnamanagh FC – where he is a manager. He is a certified coach too, to Youth Certificate standard, which is no mean feat.

Declan Crowe
Declan joined Thermodial in 2014 with a vast array of experience as an air conditioning engineer.
Declan’s disciplines include refrigeration and plumbing, however he has added safe gas competency to his skill set since joining Thermodial.
Thermodial customers are in good hands with Declan, as he expresses, the satisfaction upon completing a successful job and ensuring customer happiness are what he enjoys most about his work.
Away from his work on air conditioning systems, Declan leads an active life, through his interest in golf, gaelic games and gym work.

Krystian Ledniowski
Krystian holds the title of Thermodial’s first General Operative.
Having only joined in 2012, he is one of the Polish contingency.
With an interesting range of experience in manufacturing, plumbing, carpentry and warehousing, he brings his East European enthusiasm and work ethic to his new job.
He would be described as a hands-on worker, willing to learn from the vast experience that surrounds him.
A lead hand in our legionalla control and water management services.
His variety of work is also reflected in his interests in music, film, walking, swimming and, inevitably at Thermodial, football.

Andy Donlan
The function of a marketing person is to find out about all aspects of the company and then tie it all together for internal and external consumption.
To him it makes every day interesting as he is doing something different all the time. This helps to bring cohesion to the company offering.
His qualifications include Business, Innovation, Digital Marketing and Marketing.
Andy is a relative new comer to Thermodial, but he has already got caught up in the whole enthusiasm which permeates throughout the company.
He can feel the positive effect that this has on everybody.
His journalistic interests extend to the famous Bohemian FC and Irish football in general.

Eimer McMahon
Eimer began life at Thermodial in 2014, joining the accounts team and taking up an accounts payable role. Eimer had previously held a sales and accounts position at Manepa.
She now holds the important Customer Account Manager role. Eimer ensures high levels of customer service are maintained through close communications, in the issue of quotations and the arrangement of works.
Away from the Thermodial office Eimer is keen on her fitness and health activities as well as socialising with friends.

Niamh joined Thermodial in January 2016, bringing with her a wealth of administration, customer service and electrical experience. Having returned to education in recent years, Niamh a completed Bachelor of Engineering, Energy and Environment – an ideal fit with her current role.
Her experience, a number of years ago at Group 4 Securitas, Ireland also has her well prepared for her current role: taking customer calls; allocating Service Engineers and providing follow-up through purchase orders, subcontractor allocation and reporting.
With a large diverse range of customers, Niamh highlights – as many others have – the fact that no two days are the same, is one of the most enjoyable and challenging aspects of her job as Operations Administrator.
Away from the office, Niamh has involved herself in community projects, such as organising fundraising events for Bushido Martial Arts club in Leixlip – where her son is a member – whilst she is also a member of an art group, and blogs in the area of art, craft and interior design.

Stephen McDonnell
Stephen is another of the Thermodial team with experience in Australia.
Having served his electrical apprenticeship with Thermodial, Stephen gained experience in Australia working on a range of electrical installations.
Stephen is now using those skills in HVAC maintenance fault finding and repairs. Fixing issues arising from faults are what he enjoys most.
With a keen eye on compliance, Stephen is our safety representative in the field.
Away from work, Stephen enjoyed the challenge of playing Australian rules football. He now plays football for Innisfails GAA, where he utilises some of those skills learnt from Aussie rules.

Karl English
Karl has worked as a plumber since the year 2000, when he joined PJ Duffy and Sons to begin his apprenticeship. He went on to set-up his own heating and plumbing business before joining Thermodial in 2015.
Karl is a specialist fitter-plumber, spending the majority of his time working on HVAC upgrades and repairs. His active lifestyle is reflected in his work-life where he prefers a more physical hands-on approach in the wielding and piping side of mechanical work.
Appointed Thermodial’s first Field Projects Manager, he plans and ensures everything is done to a high standard, in a safe manner.
Karl has been hurling for over 20 years. He competes for Craobh Chiaráin in Dublin where he has also represented the Dublin hurlers at minor and under-21 level.

Ashley Rooney
Ashley came to Thermodial in 2016 and works in our accounts payable section, having dealt with customers in accounts receivable in her previous employment.
Her typical work as Credit Manager varies, from invoicing to payroll to tax and all things in between.
As you can see from her qualifications below, Ashley is well equipped for her role, with third level and industry qualifications.
In her day-to-day work, Ashley deals with a considerable number of suppliers, meaning she is engaged with a range of different people – providing variety.
Outside of Thermodial, Ashley is involved in gym and fitness activities, which keep her sharp for the busy office environment.

Eddie O’Shea
Eddie joined Thermodial in the summer of 2016, bringing with him 17 years of plumbing experience.

Customer satisfaction gained through the successful operation of plant and fault finding are what Eddie cites as the most enjoyable aspect of his job.
Eddie is another one of the Thermodial golfers and tries to get out onto the course weekly.

Kevin Brady
Kevin joined Thermodial in 2016, adding his plumbing skills to our diverse team.
His training is as diverse – welding, solar water systems and confined spaces – to name but a few.

Stephen served his electrical apprenticeship with Thermodial and progressed to become a HVAC service engineer.

Stephen enjoys working the Thermodial way: to high standards; caring for customers through problem solving and ensuring plant rooms are left in a pristine condition.
Having the building services plant operating in harmony is a key part of Stephen’s work. Similarly, he tries to achieve a harmonious sound away from work, through musical interests, in the guitar and keyboards.

Robert Taaffe
Robert joined Thermodial in 2017. Prior to that he spent time working as the maintenance manager at Lagan Brick; working abroad and serving his electrical apprenticeship in BMC manufacturing.
Robert’s involvement with HVAC systems covers everything from maintenance to callouts. His strong electrical background shows, robotics electrical maintenance too.
Fault-finding, and repairs are what he finds both rewarding and stimulating.
When not playing a role in the Thermodial team, Robert plays, guitar, pool and football on his time off.

Jason Pierce
With a strong plumbing background, joining Thermodial was an ideal progression for Jason.
You can see from his training, he has added gas and F-Gas to his skillset, becoming a HVAC service engineer.
Jason is constantly on the move and kept busy with work, on, water services, pump sets and essential heating systems.
He enjoys being on the move and takes pride in his work to achieve a first-time fix.

Aleksandra Marchewka
Aleksandra joined as Thermodial’s first dedicated scheduling manager in 2018, having worked in the industry for over 10 years.
Her role involves planning, engineers, subcontractors and dealing with all aspects of maintenance calls through our CMMS.
She holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, whilst her other qualifications include AutoCAD and safety management. This knowledge assists in planning and coordinating mechanical activities.
An aspect that Aleksandra likes in her job is the daily contact with different engineers, as well as the hum of a busy office.
Away from it all, Aleksandra enjoys back-packing and travelling to new places.

Vicky Armstrong
Vicky works as a junior accounts assistant having joined Thermodial in 2018.
Her job requires a lot of attention to figures – reviewing times, payments, payroll and purchase invoices. She’s suitably qualified too, as she counts, business, accounts technician and payroll amongst her training.
Vicky enjoys interacting with different people, which she does daily with engineers and suppliers.
Meeting different people extends outside of the office too, when, travelling, going to music events and spending time with family and friends.

Natasha Sweeney – in memory
Natasha joined Thermodial’s growing accounts team in 2018 on the payable side. In her past experience, she has operated in both the payable and receivable accounts roles. Natasha passed away on 14 December 2023.
A typical work day for Natasha involved interaction with suppliers and engineers, handling payments, purchase orders and statements.
Natasha enjoyed the interaction with different people as much as reconciling a statement or seeing a job through to completion.
In her spare time she also enjoyed exercising through her love of the outdoors; whilst music also played a significant role in her life.

George McDonald
George joined in 2018 as Thermodial’s BEMS and energy manger. He brings with him many years’ experience in facilities management and building controls.
Day-to-day George supports service engineers, provides analytics and KPIs, as well as the commissioning and balancing of installations. His vast qualifications include risk management, systems auditing and implementation of energy management practices.
George is a solutions man and enjoys finding engineering solutions to problems – utilising his practical background and experience.

Thomas is Thermodial’s Assistant Accountant. He holds a degree in business management, but is looking to specialise in accounting areas in the near future.

Relaxing away from work, Thomas’ passions are football and fishing.

Stuart joined Thermodial in 2019 as a HVAC apprentice.
Having worked with Technical Commissioning Services, Stuart was more than familiar with mechanical and electrical systems.
Stuart performs maintenance works on plumbing and electrical systems. He is an all-rounder – like most other Thermodial service engineers.
Variety is the name of the game in HVAC services and that’s what motivates Stuart. Plumbing, electrical and refrigeration work.
Mechanical systems interest him away from his day job too, performing modifications to his car.

Nathan Molloy
Nathan joined Thermodial in 2020 as an apprentice.
As part of his role, he assists service engineers in electrical, plumbing and general tasks – in both maintenance and repairs. Watching and learning, whether it be new tools or tasks is something that interests him.
Nathan enjoys getting involved in the practical side of things; while he also mentions life skills learning – such as being punctual – as essential to his development.
Nathan’s steady hand extends beyond electrical work to his junior barbering talents, which he developed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paulina Bartosik
Paulina joined Thermodial in 2020, taking up the position of scheduling administrator.
She plays an important role in Thermodial’s professional presentation. This is done by entering and verifying a whole range of data across Thermodial’s computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
Paulina holds a master’s degree in school teaching and puts those organisational skills to work in her role. This role she very much enjoys – interfacing with different engineers and operations staff.
Away from Thermodial, she has a love of volleyball – supporting and participating – like her role at home with family, which is equally important to her.

Damien Daly
With a background in refrigeration and air conditioning service and installation, Damien joined Thermodial 2020.
Providing service and callouts to air conditioning, chillers and ventilation systems are Damien’s main duties. He enjoys electrical work too – gaining an understanding of the complete HVAC system.
As a customer-focused engineer, he enjoys the fault-finding aspect and the customer-appreciation for providing solutions to those faults.
As much as he enjoys constantly learning, he also enjoys going to Bohemians games. A world away from the global brands of the English game and VAR.

For him, working in the calm of a comms room is almost as satisfying as leaving a happy customer at the end of a call.

Jonathan Graydon
Jonathan is another of the 2021 recruits, joining from a mechanical background – in pipefitting and plumbing.
He began at McGrattan and Kenny in 2000 and also worked with Mercury Engineering along the way.
Jonathan specialises in HVAC upgrade projects, where his skills and experience are useful.
He loves the variety of work and Thermodial customers – with no two sites the same, each day has a different outlook.
His passions range from playing golf to badminton, however, his real interest away from work is in his dogs.

Sinéad Kelly
Sinéad began working as Thermodial’s financial controller in 2021.
Her qualifications include: accountancy and tax, for a role that is wide-ranging.
Sinéad is involved in VAT, payroll, management accounting and everything else in between.
Like the service engineers, she is fond of problem solving and ensuring equilibrium.
Sinéad balances her Thermodial work with spending time at home with her children and getting out on the odd walk in Wicklow.

Andrew Kavanagh
Andrew is another one of our 2021 recruits, finishing up his apprenticeship.
Andrew’s experience as a data centre technician comes in very useful on both mechanical and electrical equipment, in everything from PPM to repairs.
Being methodical, he aims for a first time fix and doesn’t like unnecessarily condemning equipment that could function with a little TLC.

Paschal Byrne
Paschal joined Thermodial in April of 2021 taking up the title of Compliance Manager, having fulfilled a similar role with Mercury Engineering and others.
Paschal manages the increasingly essential area of company compliance in the areas of quality, environmental, health and safety and energy management. As you can see from his qualifications, he is suitably qualified to do so.
Paschal likes to bring a collaborative approach to his role, preferring to obtain by-in and participation from across the company on compliance management.
Therefore, it is no surprise that the people aspect of the job give him most satisfaction – bringing stakeholders together and seeking their opinions. Equally, his concern is in ensuring a safe work environment is maintained for all.

Dylan joined Thermodial in 2021 as an apprentice.
As part of his role, he assists service engineers in electrical, plumbing and air conditioning maintenance and repairs.
Checking, testing, reading, replacing and diagnosing are daily tasks he performs in this role.
This diverse work ensures that each job, location and system provide a new or different challenge.
Dylan enjoys a challenge outside of work too, in mixed martial arts training.

Dylan Clausen
Dylan joined Thermodial in 2021 as an apprentice, where he assists service engineers in electrical and general tasks.
He assists in BEMS tasks too, chasing cables and verifying the connection of controller boxes. He enjoys this validation work as it gives a sense of accomplishment.
Generally, Dylan enjoys the fault finding work, particularly when it interfaces with the BEMS.
You couldn’t find fault with his work ethic away from the tools either, where he works as a box-to-box midfielder on the football pitch for Home Farm FC.

Seán Churchard
Seán was added to Thermodial’s expanding compliance team in 2021, becoming a compliance administrator.
His work ranges from managing equipment to monitoring the audit schedule and all the tasks in between.
He enjoys the fact that his work ultimately makes Thermodial more competitive and attractive in the marketplace.
Seán is a fully compliant football coach too, having obtained FAI levels 1 and 2 coaching badges.

Evan O’Shea
Evan has been serving his time as a plumbing apprentice since 2017.
He already had work experience under his belt – where he perfected neat and tidy work – in domestic installations.
Since joining Thermodial, Evan has enjoyed fault finding and testing himself on commercial-sized systems.
Like most, Evan simply enjoys being busy. When he gets some down time, he enjoys watching Liverpool play and socialising with friends.

Zack Higgins
Zack has been serving his time as a plumbing apprentice at Thermodial since 2021.
In that space of time he has been, threading, hanging, welding and stripping different HVAC installations.
Zack is building up his qualifications too – abrasive wheels and first aid, to name but a few.
He enjoys the process of stripping back mechanical installations to their bare bones, to understand how they function.
The opposite to mechanical are Zack’s two dogs – who he likes to spend time with at home.

Ben Sloggett
Ben arrived at Thermodial in 2021 to commence his apprenticeship.
In his role, Ben assists service engineers in filter and belt changes, drain downs and other manual tasks.
Ben is not only learning his trade and about the wider HVAC system, but also all aspects of Thermodial culture – of which punctuality is a key feature.
Learning interests him the most – how boilers operate – and the different service requirements for different customers.
After work, Ben trades this in for socialising and spending time with family.

Gerard O’Flynn
Ger joined Thermodial in 2022, as a well-established HVAC service engineer.
He seamlessly integrated into the Thermodial team, supporting customers’ chiller and air conditioning needs.
Ger up skilled his qualification too, adding domestic gas safety to his skillset.
His enjoyment of travel and seeing new places means he moves from site to site without any fuss.
Similarly, his love of motorbikes, cars and knowledge of mechanics keep him on the move.

Daniel Allen
Daniel joined Thermodial in 2022 to continue with his apprenticeship, adding to his mechanical experience.
Assisting service engineers with cleaning, cutting and hanging are part of his day-to-day duties.
Well organised, Daniel keeps note of how the different pieces of HVAC equipment operate, which helps him to learn as goes.
He likes the satisfaction from getting his hands dirty and doing a days’ work. On the other hand, Daniel also enjoys the sense of achievement from completing a clean installation.
Daniel plays football too, using his organisational skills to captain Emo Rangers from centre half.

Stephen Sawyer
Stephen is a refrigeration and air conditioning craftsperson, who joined Thermodial in 2022.
Eager to learn and add to his growing skillset, Stephen also enjoys tackling electrical and plumbing issues.
Fault finding gives him most job satisfaction, perfected from his background and experience in chiller and air conditioning service and installation.
Having represented Ireland at the footgolf World Cup, Stephen is proud to pull on the green jersey when not in his workwear… and in his spare time he manages Tramore Rangers.

Ross Hanevy
Ross is another of the 2022 apprentice recruits.
Specialising in refrigeration and air conditioning, Ross is also gaining hands-on experience on electrical and plumbing systems.
Ross gets satisfaction from being able to carry out tasks independently, relying on his own learnt knowledge.
Away from his work with Thermodial, Ross operates in Kilnamanagh’s attack, where he uses his footballing knowledge to good effect.

Richard Pigott
Richard joined Thermodial in 2022 and gained his national craft certificate.
Getting stuck in is what Richard does best – servicing, repairing and also doing callouts, to a range of installations.
Richard is adding to his qualifications too, emergency first aid and domestic gas safety, to name but a few.
The customer satisfaction from a job well completed is a feeling he really enjoys, along with the freedom of being out on the road.
When he is not on the tools, Richard enjoys gym or CrossFit work.

Evan Fitzsimons
Evan has been serving his time as a plumbing apprentice since 2022.
Evan’s normal routine involves hanging brackets, cutting and hanging pipework and preparing for the engineer’s next move.
His qualifications display he can safely work at heights too, which comes in handy during installations.
Evan enjoys doing an honest days’ work, as much as meeting new people and learning new things.
Relaxing away from work, Evan is a keen photographer and enjoys hiking, when time allows.

Alex Daly
Having served the majority of his apprenticeship elsewhere, Alex joined Thermodial and finished up his apprenticeship.
With experience on both gas and oil boilers, he is a good fit for the HVAC service role.
Fault finding on heating systems are what Alex deals with daily – getting most enjoyment from walking away from a finished job.
Using his mechanical mind away from Thermodial work, Alex likes to fix up cars, when time allows.

Jamie Fennell
Jamie began his electrical apprenticeship in 2023.
His experience at Thermodial has brought him experience in BEMS, plumbing and electrical systems.
A typical week for Jamie involves, assisting with plumbing, pulling cables, fitting sensors and working on control panels. This variety is both a challenge and part of the enjoyment of the job.
Jamie shadows service engineers and assists them in a variety of activities on mechanical and electrical systems.
Jamie keeps up the intensity in his spare time by going to the gym.

Tadhg Ward
Tadhg joined in 2023 as an apprentice to learn his electrical trade.
To aid learning, apprentices get involved in many things, such as griping pumps, cleaning heat exchangers and changing filters.
As you can see from his qualifications, apprentices like Tadhg are as well trained in health and safety as anybody. A crucial part of the job.
Like most, he enjoys the variety of each working day and the change of scenery.
Away from Thermodial, Tadhg is a midfielder by trade, playing on the left side with Kilnamanagh FC.

Colm Creagh
With a background in industrial plumbing, Colm has worked with a number of different mechanical contractors.
Colm’s main role involves managing large installations – liaising with other contracts – overseeing all aspects of the job.
Using his 40 plus years’ experience, Colm also lends a hand on the tools when required, putting his welding skills to use.
Meeting new people, passing on his knowledge to others and a general interest in mechanical systems are all that he finds refreshing about his daily work.

Jake Armstrong
Jake is a refrigeration and air conditioning apprentice.
Working in tight spaces, troubleshooting electrical issues and using fault finding tools all form part of a typical day.
Jake is building knowledge and learning skills under the watchful eye of experienced service engineers.
He enjoys the hands-on work, seeing the fruits of his labour in real time and returning systems to operational after repair.
His love of seeing results might stem from his interest in fishing, which he enjoys with his father and brother.

Tommy joined Thermodial in 2024 with heating and plumbing experience under his belt.
His work involves diagnosing and fixing problems. Often dealing with boilers on lock-out, pumps and booster set issues.
Tommy enjoys broadening his knowledge. Not just upskilling on different systems like air conditioning but also adding to his plumbing expertise.
He likes the atmosphere amongst the team at work, as well as meeting new people when out and about.
Back at home, he is a keen fisher and enjoys watching rugby.

With a strong controls background, Raphael joined Thermodial in 2024.
Raphael is experienced in electrical automation from his native Brasil and in BEMS from working in engineering in Ireland.

Raphael loves the satisfaction of solving problems, while the variety of working on new projects equally appeals to him.

Katalin joined Thermodial in 2024 as Thermodial’s accounts assistant.

Alaa Mohamed
Alaa is another one of our 2024 hires, now working as an accounts assistant.
Her role isn’t just confined to spreadsheets and invoices, she assists in compliance and with PPE too.
Alaa holds an international business degree from TU Dublin and is fully up to speed in using SAP software.
Navigating new challenges and striving to deliver value motivates Alaa each day.

Killian Cush
Killian joined Thermodial in 2024 as an apprentice.
He assists engineers, keeping things neat, clean and tidy. While also learning how to service assets, such as, fan coil units, boilers and pumps.
