Company history
Thermodial were founded on 07 October 1986 in Dublin 12. Three engineers: Willie Kearney, Kevin Kerrigan and Tom Morrissey started the business with a vision of delivering an engineering focused service. Their vision included a round-the-clock service availability, future-proofing the business for a market that now necessitates maximum uptime plant performance and 24/7 – 365 callout response.
In 2001, Thermodial moved from the south inner city, to set up base at the newly-constructed, Centrepoint Business Park in Dublin 12. Easy access to the M50 ensured swift response times on all major routes in the Leinster region and beyond.
As a result of a growing geographical spread of customers, Thermodial opened an office in Cork in 2012, in response to demand.
A management buyout (MBO) took place in 2016, which saw the promotion of Turlough Kinane, Mark Carrick and Alan Keegan to the position of director. They joined the remaining founder, Willie Kearney, in managing the day-to-day business operations. They ensure the founders’ created vision lies at the heart of Thermodial’s service.
Thermodial’s company history goes on to show the celebration of their 30th anniversary in late 2016. This occasion was celebrated by the commissioning of a special logo to mark the occasion.
Due to continued growth and expansion, Thermodial moved to Citywest in 2022. A long-term lease was signed on a modern, high-quality business unit to satisfy increased space and facility demands, after 21 years in Dublin 12.
